Strange how you follow some horses but never notice others and, sadly, I didn’t know Hawk Moth. Yet he ran 88 times, winning 8 and placing 19 times. How did I not know him? He died last week after being injured at Lingfield on Saturday. There’s a bit about him in the RP supplement. He was 8 years old and appears to have been loved by both trainer and owners.
