The going tonight was described as “good, good to soft in places”. Yet at least one track record was broken.
How can that happen with “soft” in the going? The description cannot possibly be accurate.
Im 10 minutes from the track and its been battered by rain for about a week, yesterday and today it was fairly warm, id say today was warm enough to dry it out, i wouldnt have been surprised if this morning it was actually good to soft and by the race off it was good to firm
So id say definitely an error by the time racing started
