Hard not to like the overall form of Rashabar, a Royal Ascot winner and then pipped in two group 1’s. I was surprised he wasn’t an outright short favourite when looking at prices this evening. That probably would have meant leaving the race alone but with 10/3 available I had to punt on him. Mr. Meehan is a tough one to get right, hopefully his runners tomorrow show a bit of something for encouragement purposes leading into this.

It’s another good turnout and exciting race, I put a fiver on Rogue Allegiance just in case he is a beast as mentioned recently by one of his owners who have apparently been batting away big figure offers for the horse. Plenty to like about the rest, too.

David O’Meara likes to lay one put for this so Rogue Allegiance has to be feared but I’m sticking with Godolphin to win this with ..
    Al Qudra – 5/1 EW
He’s been racing around the Globe and managed to run well in a couple of Group 1’s last year. Having said that he ran 2nd in one Group 1 but stumbled in the other leaving him no chance.
    Should be thereabouts tomorrow. :good:

I always love The Greenham, and I’ve taken 13-1 on Rogue Allegiance

Complete white out for the ‘boys in blue’, all three ran similar races…flattered and faded.

Tough start for some of us for the flat but early days yet.

Lovely win from Jonquil and Rashabar in 2nd ran really well for Nathan, Nick and Chivers.. :good: Jac
