As VTC said entries are out for this to , early days but Might I is one of my horses to follow this season and at 14s I reckon he,s a cracking bet , no Jonbon or CH here , I reckon he,s still a graded horse
October 26, 2022 at 05:23 #1620193The frustrating Broomfield Burg looks potentially well handicapped here, but I want to see what mark ex-French Golden Son gets and Teed Up is a horse with an OR of 82 on the Flat who I think remains less than fully exposed over hurdles on an Irish mark of 113, though if the top weights stand their ground he might be out of the handicap proper?

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"October 26, 2022 at 05:29 #1620197Alan King has a decent record in the race and, in the shape of Call Of The Wild and Harbour Lake, has a couple of likely types here.
I’ve taken the 12s and 20s respectively.

Last i heard Might I was running in a 3 mile handicap first run.
October 26, 2022 at 11:35 #1620291I’ve got a couple of shares in Hacker Des Places. He brought us nothing but joy last year and he could still be improving. I’ll probably side with him out of sentiment although he may now be that bit too high in the weights.
October 26, 2022 at 19:50 #1620394Mike he has an entry , to be honest the step may well suit better , either way I reckon he,s a graded horse
October 27, 2022 at 17:51 #1620521He’s maybe not the most obvious, but I’m tempted by Playful Saint here at 66-1 ew. It’s only worth a small interest just now, but I’m happy to part with a few pounds.
October 28, 2022 at 15:15 #1620631Tritonic the early fancy for me too, but like The Paddy Power Gold Cup, I’ll be waiting for as long as I can
October 28, 2022 at 22:29 #1620687I quite like Teed Up for this, but the way Dads Lad won last week over fences has also pulled me towards him.
They’re both prominent enough in the betting though, and I’ll refrain just now
October 31, 2022 at 17:56 #1621157Current Mood ran a nice race last week, hes 33s here but not certain to get in. Unfortunately the Rp marked it as “eyecatching”
trainer and jockey combined to good effect to win the big handicap hurdle at Haydock last November with Dans le vant.
thats my early bet
November 2, 2022 at 16:46 #1621338I think that 16-1 is a very fair price for First Street. He’s lightly raced, and given his run in The County Hurdle, behind the Mullins plot job, then he looks like he’s well treated. I’m thinking of betting him right now, but unfortunately the trainer hinted at a later start for him
November 7, 2022 at 18:38 #1622163Severance is my early bet here at 16-1
November 7, 2022 at 19:30 #1622175Teed Up would have been thrown in here at the revised weights with Metier on Flat November Handicap form.
He’s been taken out and stablemate Thousand Tears is being backed.
Maybe eight days was considered too soon – or maybe the trainer thinks the one left in is even better treated!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"November 7, 2022 at 20:45 #1622186I was eyeing up Thousand Tears last night when i saw him entered here, but the entry of Teed Up did put me off antepost.
It slipped under my radar that he had moved to Emmet- weirdly been a horse i’ve kind of liked for one so average lol.
The fact Emmet is happy to reoppose here after the flat run behind Dads Lad tells us plenty. Id say Emmet fancies himself to have found a comfortable 10 lb of improvement at least. Thousand Tear’s last 3 runs for Burke were promising, even the US.
Hopefully once people look at Dads Lads flat win over him, and the current handicap marks, Thousand Tears will drift a little and allow me to back him, but at 5-1 he’s SKINNY!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 7, 2022 at 22:05 #1622195Yup, Thousand Tears would be my shout as well, but just can’t back him at that price having missed the good stuff.
I thought N’Golo was very impressive in The Swinton, and thought he was good value for the 8lb rise.
Maybe pushing it for win purposes, but think he should be bang there, and though no doubt one to take advantage of the max places, I’m happy to take the 33’s right now, and top up EW later
Thought Nina The Terrier was fairly appealing too, but she’s double engaged.
N’Golo 33’s
November 11, 2022 at 11:35 #1622520Was waiting for this horse to be declared.
Gin Coco 12-1 ew 5 places
November 11, 2022 at 17:13 #1622561I’ve added Cormier here – likes the ground, below a win mark with the claimer over course and distance earlier in the year. 25 s 5 places seems very fair give its not the strongest renewal.
Cormier 25s ew
Current Mood 33s ew (Antepost) - AuthorPosts
