The lovely Bipolaire probably deserves to win this, Carriacou already has and the young hotshot Figuero looks exciting but I’m sticking with my pals.
Enjeu d’Arthel hasn’t grown very much over the summer and hasn’t gone on to do as well as I thought he would so far this year but had a very nice pop round last time. Given his trainer and his neat stature, I’d be interested in him for the XC at Cheltenham if he doesn’t hit the heights at G1 level.
Feu Follet jumped well in the same prep race. He’s only 5 but a scopey beast.
Poly Grandchamp was a bit of an add-on due to being a decent ew price, he’s usually fairly consistent.
