I think Willie is sending three; and why not. He’s often sent horses over for the top French races, and the prize money is good.
I don’t know why more British trainers don’t plan for it; good money, soft ground, etc All seems a bit insular.Yes WP has three for the race, Franco de Port, Al Boum Photo & Burrows Saint. It’s an unfilled ambition of his to win this. Screaming Colours is in it as well for the Durkans and Lord Dun Mensil is also entered.

Pari-Mutuel monopoly is boring for punters like me but great for owners as it funds much bigger prize money.

L’autonomie scoped badly last time apparently. The trainer says she is well again and I think she’ll win today, despite her tendency to jump right.

I remember alighting at Port D’Auteuil on the Paris Metro, having a lovely lunch alfresco at a Bistro immediately outside the station and later walking round Auteuil racecourse in 1990.
Fascinating venue.
Not a race I feel any need to have a bet on, but I will watch with great interest just the same.

Those bookmaker generated shows very much show the Irish/British horses much much shorter than the PMU. Klassical Dream returned 5.5 on the PMU today but was available at 8 a few moments before the off. The UK/Ire SP was 5/2. I’m not sure if you can request the PMU odds anymore but you certainly should if backing one of the visitors.
