    Surely the point of this thread wasn’t discussing the yard from a punting perspective, moreso highlighting the massive shortcomings of an operation that spends tens of millions of pounds each year on bloodstock and has little if anything to show for it.

    Surely the point of this thread wasn’t discussing the yard from a punting perspective, moreso highlighting the massive shortcomings of an operation that spends tens of millions of pounds each year on bloodstock and has little if anything to show for it.

    It’s hard to discuss their shortcomings when you are not privy to information about their training and purchasing methods, who exactly does the training/planning or how much money is spent pn aquisitions from outside the Maktoum bloodstock empire each year. They have not been helped in the last few years by their refusal to use Coolmore sires, numerous injuries, or indeed, the premature death of the brilliant Dubai Millenium who’s first and only crop wasn’t bad at all.
