Yep, i thought he was going to get a place for us! Good run anyway, saw out the longer trip ok.
Surprisingly only 3 winners in the 1st race. Approval (11/2) scored
17 points for DFWard, Rob North, but perhaps most importantly Hot
Fuss, who is riding off in the distance at this point. Very well
done guysPlenty with The Strikin Viking, 2nd with 4 pts, and along with Silent
Assassins I was feeling quite smug with Black Forza, 9/1 and 22 points,
until I came across Tonge who not only had Black Forza, but napped him.
What can I say, except well done SS and HUGE congrats to Catherine (tonge),

Three races gone, and it couldn’t be tighter at the top. We have a new leader.
Tonge just nips into the lead, thanks to her nap on Black Forza. Leader now
on 145pts with Hot Fuss only 2 behind on 143pts, and myself BigG trying to
keep them in sight with 116pts. Not even half way through, still wide openFour hit the winner on the head, Opera Singer 9/4 (14 pts), I really
didn’t think he would be that big. Two of those, Nathan Hughes and that
nan Hot Fuss napped it, 28 pts, which puts Hot Fuss back at the top on
a huge 171 pts.Congrats to Landafar who was the only one (my reserve
) to
pick out Mr Chaplin. A 10/1 winner and 22 points. First class
LandafarShagraan was a fairly popular winner, with 5, Broadsword, Silent Assassin, Rob North,
Miko007 and yes, that man again, Hot Fuss. Playing a blinder HFThere has to be a special mention for Silent Assassins, who used his 2 horse pic
on the winner and the 2nd Got To Love A Grey at 20/1. A further 14pts for a 28 pts

It’s pretty astounding RTB, I’m just wondering if there’s a bookie left that will
take his bets. Graham – brilliant columns Well done, Hot Fuss. Wow, you really mean business this time. I can’t believe you have never been on the podium for Goodwood before! The others at the top have got their work cut out, that’s for sure!
Congrats to Tonge for staying there in 2nd place on the podium (actually, where you have been all competition so far!) and to BigG for climbing back up onto that podium again. The fact that Raymo is not allowed cakes as a prize anymore seems to have put him off trying to get winners somewhat!
