Another barren day for the Hannons Nathan. Who can believe that a horse such as Kingman would come along when they though Frankel was safely tucked up at Stud.
A muddle of a pace and then

    Wipeout

    ..
    Still 3 days to go..Jac :D

    Thanks Jac, much appreciated.
I would say have a pimms but it might not be a good idea what with the painkillers.

Hannon have a wrenched time of it. Ivawood should give them some rest bite but if he gets turned over they might start head banging the walls. Kingman is a class act with a Canford Cliffs trademark turn of foot. Holt and Emma Spencer both said afterwards they have tried everything to beat Kingman. Ummm 2000 Guineas.

I kinda got a bit worried Nathan when Hughsie was quoted as asking everyone how he should ride Toronado today. The pace was so slow at first it was almost slow motion and then the Turbo engine kicked in and it was all over..what a horse. :D
Perhaps Hughsie could have tried to stretch the field a bit more it seemed they set the race up nicely for him to take it.

I’ll take a raincheck on the Pimms Nathan, my favourite drink on a hot sunny day but hopefully toast Ivawood’s win with a hot chocolate and a couple of paracetomol(treat myself to an extra dollop of cream on top).

Toronado needs a faster pace from front to finish to be seen at his best the lack of pacemaker was baffling. Kingman might have won whatever the pace and I don’t want to take nothing away from him but it was a little disappointing the way the race was run.

Could do but it might be a case of ‘these are the numbers, now what number would you like it to be’. Not sure if you could afford the fees either Nathan

Even if I could afford I wouldn’t part.
My 7 year old asked me to buy him a comic in the shops the other day. ‘How much does it cost’? I said ‘£3.50’ he replies. ‘No, not today’ I tell him, to which he bangs out in a loud voice ‘Well you cant take it with you’…..
