Only worry is there isn’t much pace in the race. However, Storm The Stars is the most likely front runner and would be outspeeded if making a slowly run affair; so it’s likely to be a fair gallop. Haggas horse is genuine and progressive, but can’t see him making up the distance with JH if Gosden’s runs to form.
Highland Reel improved to be a good second in French “Derby” (1m2f). Could progress again, but doesn’t seem crying out for this trip. Epsom might have come a week too soon for Giovanni Canneletto; but seems a bit of a thinker. This also a third race in quick succession. Kilimanjaro may not be the most straightforward either, doesn’t seem good enough anyway and wouldn’t be surprising if sacrificed as pacemaker. Of the four Coolmore horses, at the prices I’d be most likely to back Qualify. There were reasons why one or two Oaks fillies did not perform to full potential, but no getting away from this filly’s improvement and more progression could see her at least fighting out the places. Radanpour has potential, but needs to make a big step up in one go to win this.
