I had a fair idea of your system, but it’s good to see it in black
and white. I understand where you are coming from and hope you start
off ahead of the posse.I’m a bit different but I’m doing ok. I have a bank ringfenced from
a couple weeks back of £500 for Cheltenham (In the Meydan Thursday
thread) and much the same as I admit there are horses that I know
(think) are reliable, I do have my favourites, that are going to run
where they have the odds all wrong. I watch the races of all horses in
the race, see if their finishing position doesn’t reflect their run. I
like to check where one has previously run against onother fancied
horse/s in a race, if the weights are a turn around (if it had been
in contention) and if it has it’s ground and should do well at the
course. Sometimes I get egg on my face, but sometimes it sticks out
like a sore thumb, such as Highland Hunter who should never have been
10/1 on Saturday (that’s Aintree’s pot sorted too) even although he was
top weight..That’s a kind of over simplification of it, takes me hours in certain
races. But I’ll leave it at that as it’s your thread. I reckon you have
every chnce of staying ahead of the bookies, and that’s no mean feat.All the best Mark
