But on Racing Post Standard, the times on Arrest’s Geoff Freer day suggest the ground was only the meerest fraction different to what I expect today. That said, whether he’ll have the pace as a 4 year old in today’s conditions is another question. It would not surprise me if he gets beat today and goes on to win a Group 1 either on very soft ground or Good-Soft over further.
However, Hamish may also be better on softer than today’s imo proper Good going. I have now changed Hamish to a saver and Al Qareem is a main bet.

Could’ve been better but for some close finishes.
Had 65 shot Surrey Quest pipped Macdermott, Al Qareem pipped Hamish and Son been third instead of 4th / or had I kept Hamish a main bet… But I suppose the Fred Darling could have gone the other way too.
