I like Casual Smile (at the odds), think people are going OTT about her not meeting expectations on the weekend, she didn’t like the door being shut on here and seemed to fold soon after, I don’t think she’d have won anyway but she’ll only improve for that run.

Palace was another I like but having seen Pricewise tip her I’d expect to see her price drop in the next few days/weeks. Would also like to see how she does over further before making a bet.

I’d leave Casual Smile well alone now Ben, at least until the day and just before the start. Then it should be known what sort of mood she’s in. She’ll be a big price if running. I don’t know much about this Palace, will look her up when time is on my side.

Didn’t get to Newbury today, with all the good racing this week and studying, other things had to be done.

Still the best day’s punting so far this season. Two wins from 3, both well backed and shortened in the market. Gospel Choir 9/2 in to 7/2 and Volume 9/2 in to 9/4. Shame Wind Fire couldn’t get a place, 15/2 in to 4/1.
