What price do you make Rainfall for Ascot’s 4.50, Mark?
Despite a slightly laboured performance at Doncaster a fortnight ago she’s head and shoulders above these and I must admit that I thought 3/1 looked big.
Got the 4:50 a bit wrong AJ, Rainfall disappointed me on her previous start. That was her first after a break and should’ve allowed for it. Also Mosqeras Romance had not found much under pressure too, so should’ve marked her down for temperament, didn’t. Think the leaders did go off too quick, but Rainfall was impressive, my 5/1 price to beat was way out. After I’d backed her a couple of times in better races too (though did have a penalty which should have made things a bit more difficult today).
