Hopefully We Are passes all tests for performance-enhancing tumours this time.

October 5, 2014 at 19:19 #491604Shamkala has to be the each way bet of the day at 11’s.
Sultanina is unbeaten at today’s trip and was only a short head behind the mighty Treve over further last time. On this ground and back to this trip she’ll do for me.
Only a short-head behind today’s cosy Arc winner last time out, yet out with the washing today. Where’s the justice is this game?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
October 5, 2014 at 19:28 #491607She probably ran her heart and guts out that day whilst Treve was having a day out schooling in public.

October 5, 2014 at 19:32 #491608Ladbrokes taking a real stand against Gleneagles for the 2k guineas next year.Whilst he’s as low as 8/1 in places Ladbrokes are offering 14/1.
After the Moyglare when Found finished 3/4 of a length behind Cursory Glance on only her 2nd start, having previously won her maiden they were offering 10/1 for next years 1k guineas…they went the same price as Cursory Glance. That proved to be a shrewd decision in light of her winning the Boussac impressively & they’ve now shortened her to 5/1….they clearly dont want to lay her.
If Ladbrokes are prepared to lay Gleneagles in the guineas it would appear that they’ve adopted the opposite approach to Ol’ Man River. They make him joint 2nd favourite @ 10/1…the shortest of the
4 Coolmore horses in the betting. In fact the other 3 – Highland Reel,JFK & Gleneagles are a best price across the board at …….Ladbrokes.October 5, 2014 at 22:11 #491624Has anyone got a link to the Prix Foret?

October 5, 2014 at 22:15 #491625Can’t see one on Youtube of the whole race but here’s the second half of it:
October 5, 2014 at 22:24 #491626Thanks Tommy. It seems that there is a difference of opinion regards the horses future. Hannon has supposedly said the horse retires whilst Frankie has lined him up for the QE11.

October 8, 2014 at 08:53 #491720The Wow Signal’s bubble burst there. Didn’t think Gleaneagles would of been quick enough for this a good performance. Has he lost the race yet?
I was on Gleneagles and Found singles and a double. He’s now been placed third but that’s life.
I took a view a fair while ago that the Ballydoyle crop look ahead of everyone this year and Gleneagles probably isn’t even their best colt.
The Wow Signal was never a next season horse for me and I had him pegged a sprinter. The way Frankie rode him today was always going to test his stamina and it was notable that, for being the highest rated 2yo this year, the Wow Signal was always a big enough price for the 2000 Guineas.
They are saying the Wow Signal scope badly after his run in Paris and are preparing him for a shot at next years guineas via either the Greenham or Craven.
Like you Steve, I couldn’t possibly have him as a guineas horse next year.
