Ok ill get things started.
I hate the abbaye. Hate the fact that so many horses dont get a run. I also hate that camera angle. I feel like im watching from a car park somewhere.

October 5, 2014 at 12:34 #491528Mmm, Sole Power spent the whole race with his nose wedged up a backside.
How does David O’Meara do it though? His horses look exposed and just keep finding new peaks of performance – trainer of the season imo.
October 5, 2014 at 12:41 #491530Very slick stuff from Found. Cursory Glance (and indeed Tiggy Wiggy) must be very special fillies!

I agree. Shows the advantage of keeping some horses til they age a bit.
Found looks a very good filly as well. Really gets her head down.

October 5, 2014 at 12:47 #491533Absolutely. I only just realised that Found is a daughter of Red Evie, so you can see where she gets that toughness and willing attitude.
Hopefully they put her away for the year and push on towards the Oaks next year.
October 5, 2014 at 12:57 #491535Oh come on.
You know you want to.

October 5, 2014 at 13:18 #491536Surely Joseph loses this. That was utterly brainless and dangerous riding.
Gleneagles was holding them without nothing on the inside. Just pull your whip through and play it safe!
I did not have a bet in the race, btw.

Probably my favorite you tube clip.
Gleneagles will probably lose this. Another row for the forum

October 5, 2014 at 13:26 #491538The Wow Signal’s bubble burst there. Didn’t think Gleaneagles would of been quick enough for this a good performance. Has he lost the race yet?

Always the risk with a hold up horse. I felt this race may not suit a closer.
It has to be said after a bitterly disappointing campaign Moviesta nearly made me eat my words by lifting this. He was a bit unlucky, I think he’d have won with a clear run and hopefully the trainer has finally realised that 5f a sharp track and fast ground are what he needs and stop wasting time running him over 6f.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
October 5, 2014 at 13:29 #491540That amended result must have spared M Thulliez’s blushes. Quite what he was doing waiting to be overtaken, having got to the front on the bridle, before getting after Full Mast we’ll never know.
October 5, 2014 at 13:32 #491541Shamkala has to be the each way bet of the day at 11’s.

I was on Gleneagles and Found singles and a double. He’s now been placed third but that’s life.
I took a view a fair while ago that the Ballydoyle crop look ahead of everyone this year and Gleneagles probably isn’t even their best colt.
The Wow Signal was never a next season horse for me and I had him pegged a sprinter. The way Frankie rode him today was always going to test his stamina and it was notable that, for being the highest rated 2yo this year, the Wow Signal was always a big enough price for the 2000 Guineas.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

Sultanina is unbeaten at today’s trip and was only a short head behind the mighty Treve over further last time. On this ground and back to this trip she’ll do for me.

Both wrong Nathan. Not a lot of encouragement for Treve fans but a decent compliment paid to Taghrooda by Tarfasha’s run.

October 5, 2014 at 13:51 #491547Shamkala met a little trouble but not good enough anyway.
