2:35 Aintree – Wichita Lineman is the odds on favorite but he looked a real stayer at Cheltenham and I’m not sure he will be able to show his best at the Aintree track ( even though he has previously won at the course ). I prefer to bet on Silverburn who I am hoping will find the necessary improvement req’d with the step up in trip to 3 miles. There are some front runners in this race which should ensure that it is a truely run race. Backed e/way at 9/2.

Wichita Lineman & Brooklyn Breeze for me. Had a pretty good lump at the former; it’s one of those bets where a horse is simply too good for the field, like ED yesterday.

I’m going to trust De Soto (3/1)to prevail against current Exchange fav Oinapojah in the big Novice Hurdle at Aintree 4.30. Hoping the ground conditions might be just right for him. Not convinced by the fav just yet!
