Hi all, a bit off topic as not necessarily to do with horse racing but does anyone know if Frankie Dettori is going to take part in the next I’m a Celebrity get me out of here??
If so then i think would be brilliant for the sport. Hopefully would generate a bit more positive publicity for it and attract new racegoers/ watchers…<!– s:lol: –>

November 8, 2008 at 14:51 #188748i think it could do the opposite, one of the best known and respected jockeys joining a bunch of desperate Z-listers to show themselves up in a format and environment that can hardly lead to anything except derision.
He surely can’t need the money or the (probably bad) publicity and there must be some godolphin horses to ride during that time?

2/1 Fav not 3/1. Wonder what price he would have been returned in this age of Betfair!
November 11, 2008 at 05:58 #189156Heard a rumour only Pat Eddery was trying to beat Frankie in that 7th race. Allowed a very soft lead up front.
Or does that belong in another thread?
