    MH 370 – What really happened ?

Smooth criminal – Don’t stop till you get enough !

Corbyn and Cameron – Brexit runaways !

    Saving Grayling

The favourite five and the whys and wherefores.

All burning issues the public drool and obsess over. Give them their due. :negative:

Midnight – 66 days 156 posts – evidence of obsession or addiction ?
It’s been a pleasure but now need to remove my foot from the pedal.

You and your royal connections made it particularly memorable. King was great taking the truth drug and unlocking his jewels. lost soldier’s deletion and surprise at who he was. Yeats putting me up for member of the year and then having a go at me when I arrived. Lots to chuckle at. Lemon puff and cocoa time

Good to see you again, Gamble
I know I’ve changed a lot since then
    You’re lookin’ fine, yeah

Three years that ain’t long, Gamble
    I still remember your songs
    When you were fine, yeah

Times change, times change I know
    But it sure moves slow
Down river when you’re locked away

Hey why didn’t you write, Gamble
I stayed awake most every night
    Countin’ my time yeah

Oh no I ain’t mad Gamble
I know you had to mind your mind
    But just a line yeah

    Oh sure I remember then
    You went off to school
    Ain’t that right
    Well you ain’t no fool

    You’re a good man Gamble
Hold on tight as you can
    Don’t ask me why yeah

Yeah nice seein’ you again Gamble
Me I got things to do
    Well good-bye yeah

    Gamble down river
Down river when you’re locked away
    Gamble we’re losing
    Down river

Finally round the bend enough to shave the weep from the willows and settle the breeze of your toon neez.
Let us first leave your words and the ghost of Sharon and aim our oars at another famous five. Yourself Bachelors Hall and Grimes in the front and coxing we have the unlikely hand holding couple of Nathan Hughes and Ugly Mare.

All five of you have uttered introspective searching soliloquies of personal difficulty, or in Uglie’s case a dip into the majesty of mountains and the rough guude to broaden and bring succour to those grounded by fret and those less so. All have touched the massif by broadening its mind, injecting it with the holistic human touch of personal difficulty and challenge.

I am off down river soon but your toon and its soporific effect of gentle bream filled lapping water has caused me to take my foot off the pedal – and it’s been enjoying easy like a Sunday morning and a much slower pace. Off now for a four shot coffee in a tributory, to inject a gambol into my lazy landscape of resting cream pieces – the hazy lazy flat whites. :-)

Over ten years ago that I posted A Personal Sadness then half regretted doing so. A lot of water under the bridge since then but as MikkyMo73 advised time is a great healer and many things crop up on a regular basis that trigger fond memories. My son is now a pain in the ass 13 year old who seems to have lost the art of conversation and whose life revolves around football and his new found interest in 13 year old girls.

”Hello, hello! It’s good to be back, it’s good to be back. Hello, hello, hello. Did you miss me – while I was away? Did you hang my picture on your wall? And did you miss me – every single day? And treasure every word that I said? Treasure every word that I said. Hello, hello, it’s good to be back. It’s good to be back. Good-ness gracious!”

    Hello Ian,
think the picture is in the attic, bubble wrapped
Just needs signing and I’ll take it to the Antiques roadshow
Even if it goes unsold the sight of Cheryl Hakeney will be worth the trip
