Pretty bad right now and I’ve also noticed less activity during the week for the past 14-21 days.

I’m getting the error “There has been a critical error on this website” on the main horse racing section again now. Have been getting it intermittently for a week or so. It only ever seems to be on this section.

Hi all, I’ve escalated to our IT guru who is having a look. Seems a bit intermittent so might take a bit of tracking down but we’re on the case.
I did see the issue myself a week or two back but not since so I put it down as a blip but looks more than that.
Apologies for the hassle it’s causing trying to get on.
I’ll update if and when we find something.
Meantime let me know if you see anything else strange as it may help diagnose (like with the site, not your auntie’s new boyfriend or other strangenesses…)

Apologies everyone – we’re struggling to get to the bottom of this issue. It is strange in that it comes and goes. Rest assured we are trying to find the issue and fix it.

We’ve made some tweaks which look as if they may have resolved things. We think the amount of content on the Horse Racing forum was stretching things so we’ve allocated some additional resource to that section. Along with lots of other tweaks which may not have been related but may help generally.
