Welcome to TRF. :wave:
I use to try and and go for the first race of the day but have modified the selection criteria. I now first thing check out the "Odds Checker" site and look out for the most short priced horses of the day and make my decision from there. I chose the 19:10 at Newmarket today as I felt "Defining" should end up winning this.
I suppose technically this is not a true "system" as do not stick to a rigid set of rules, but it is only posted up for fun as stated from the onset. If you wish back some longer priced selections then I would follow some of the people that post in "The Maximums" section of the Forum – and also in the "Tipping" section – as there are some very knowledgeable people of whom offer their tips totally for free on a daily basis.
