thanks billion , the staking plan looking for advise
the system selects 3 horses a day ,
the past results are 210 selections 104 winners ,
from the 106 loosers 55 where placed ,
the odd range from o/o to 4/1,
the longest loosing run was 6 selections which happnd once,
the longest winning selections where 5 although 5 and 4 tims have happnd often,
i thought of stopping at a winner or 80/20 but i have seen something on treble your stake but i dont understand , do you go back to your original stake when you win .
thanks in advance and good luckApril 9, 2010 at 21:34 #289050It looks to be a quality system to me

and I guess FORMATH is most likely to be your man to advise with staking plans.
Without knowing what you stake (albeit £1 or £100), not that it is is relevant to what I am about to suggest but if you bet
one unit
of whatever level, why not simply increase the value of that
unit
and if you are making money you should make even more. This does away with any
fancy pants
staking plan and its associated complications.
It is also interesting that you raise the 80/20 issue and for your own interest why don’t you run double stakes for win only bets through your past results just to see what the outcome is. Having flirted with most of the available
safety
bets I found MY place parts of the bets were a waste of time as the majority either won or lost and the gut feeling was there were fewer placing than I expected there to be.
It is quite an interesting point of view that the bookies like e/w bets because they consider the place part has little or no value. Their opinion not mine.

April 11, 2010 at 08:54 #289541Sadly this experiment is giving up the vibes of going nowhere. The results are not matching the original aim of beating the 55% strike rate of RPR plus RP favourite.

(a.k.a. lesleyone) builds his success around finding the favourite on the way to post, something I don’t have regular daily time for. Various compensatory filters have been flirted with all to no avail and therefore I feel unable to proceed as such.
My search for the Holy Grail of systems will continue but not here.

April 13, 2010 at 17:31 #290098Hi billion , just to say that i did get your message reg my question on Massey but i didnt know how to reply with you directley . I agree with everthing you said and i must say that their must be others as well .
Thanks once again Billion and good luckApril 13, 2010 at 18:13 #290103Hi
mal1964
Thanks for the reply.
I have never thought open forum is the place to be critical of others but am almost tempted with regard to the person in question. I have heard it said there is every possibility it could be Mr Massey himself, although I do have my doubts.
What irritates me most of all is the fact credit is never given to ideas outside of their own style of thinking.
By the way, it may be worth your while contacting
The Philosopher
(Gary) on the Massey forum, I know he is a member there and may help you with your staking. You have mentioned 80/20 and he certainly uses this method himself and I know he has posted regarding there with his Place Betting and still runs a thread as Week End Place Bets.
I have p.m’d him explaining my suggestion to you but am never quite sure if he will receive it.
