WE all owe so much to these guys and I think it would be nice if we made a collection for him now that it has been confirmed he will not race again.
Is it possible for The Racing Forum to open a collection fund and find a way to send any proceeds to him with our best wishes.
billion

Something of an onerous administrative task for Cormack et al
Mr Tylicki’s awful injury is unfortunately just the latest addition to a long list of disabling and career-ending accidents to befall jockeys, therefore I’d suggest that rather than instigating your well-meant idea it would be better to just continue supporting the IJF from time-to-time by buying their calendars and cards etc and/or supplementary donation
November 5, 2016 at 12:52 #1270811Can only echo the words other TRFers have already said. We owe these guys so much. Hope Freddy finds happiness in another worthwhile vocation in the future.
Drone’s right, we should give our own personal donation to the IJF.
Value Is EverythingNovember 5, 2016 at 14:00 #1270846Channel 4 (Studio) states there is a fund (approx. £35,000 so far in only 11 hours) but did not tell how to donate.
Does anyone here know where/how?

Nothing like Freddie’s injury, but I spent 6 months in hospital in my early 30’s with a career changing illness… Freddy will read this with out any shadow of a doubt.
Freddy, you have made me a lot of money this year. You have been on my special list of jocks who I want on my horses for a punt for the past two and a half years (in other words you’re EV+ Freddy). I can’t even recall you giving a horse I’ve backed a bad ride… ever. As the chances have come this season, you really showed what you can do.
This is so cruel, you were destined for the very very top. Keep your chin up Freddy, the wonders of medical science never cease to amaze. You have an entire, and very loving sport behind you. You will do great things in your life in the future, I’d put a lot of money on that fact.
Thank you Freddy.
November 7, 2016 at 14:28 #1271245This has been the worst couple of weeks in racing that I can remember and all thoughts are with Freddy and his family as he starts his fight back to fitness and a new way of life.
The main thing is that he survived this awful accident and has the love and support of his family and friends around him, and all the messages of support must surely tell him how much everyone thinks of him and how loved and respected he is.
It’s going to be a long road but with youth on his side and the nature of the man I feel certain that Freddy will fight his way back and find a way to keep involved in the sport that he loves.
Just bought my IJF Calendar and Christmas Cards but will make an extra donation to this charity in Freddys name on my next visit…Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 7, 2016 at 15:03 #1271256£214,000 the last time I checked.

November 8, 2016 at 19:01 #1271430Wonderful news that Freddie’s fantastic fund has burst through the quarter of a million and now stands at £258,000 which I am sure will do nothing but good for the young man.

Well done Matt.
