Absolute sickening fall but fantastic news that Jim has been discharged. Best wishes to Freddie, here’s hoping for some good news tomorrow.

‘A statement from the Injured Jockey’s Fund on Monday evening read: “Following the incident at Kempton Park racecourse this afternoon, jockey Jim Crowley has been discharged from St Georges Hospital, Tooting, to return home with his family’ from TheSportingLife tonight. Desperately want to hear something positive about Tylicki but am so relieved to read this.

Just how tough are these guys, Steve Drowne and Ted Durcan both made there way back to the weighing room
under their own steam. It was later discovered that Ted Durcan had a broken ankle!! Tough just doesn’t
do them justice. It seems that Freddie, by all accounts, is in good spirits but there doesn’t appear
to be much more information at this time other than that from the injured Jockeys Fund, who merely
state that he “remains in a stable condition in intensive care at St George’s Hospital”.

I know what he and his family are going through, my wife was in a serious car accident 4 years ago and
broke her back in 3 places. It’s taken a long time but she is doing well considering. I pray that he comes
    out of this well.

All thoughts with Freddy Tylicki and his family tonight and pray that he gets through all the tests with a positive outcome.

I only saw this accident on local news this evening and was shocked at what seemed carnage on the bend as the leader clipped heels with the other horse and they went down like nine pins. To hear that Jim Crowley, Ted Durcan and Steve Drowne have walked away with minor injuries is good news and thankfully no horses were injured.

Lets hope that these tests are of a routine nature and that Freddy is back with his family before too long and on the road to recovery :rose:

Apparently he has been diagnosed with T7 paralysis.
My thoughts are with him and I hope his recovery is as full and speedy as possible.
It can be a cruel sport sometimes.
    Good luck Freddie !

Very bad news and very sorry to hear the horrible outcome. It was quite obvious that something terrible had happened since it took them so long to come up with the diagnosis. But considering what else could have happened to him, there still might be a slim chance of making some kind of recovery.
I wish him all the best and hopefully his doctors and his family can help him to cope with the terrible news!
