Oh no really sorry to hear this … I was watching and it was an x rated last fence fall … he’s run so many times with only one fall ever I think before this …
Massini Man pulled up with something amiss with two circuits to go. The commentary after the race doesn’t mention any of the casualties. Instead you hear that crap about Statuario’s handicap mark and no word lost about the last fence faller.
I guess the horrible trend continues, though some people will be pleased that we had two fatality free days. Just forgot which ones they were.

THE EDINBURGH GIN HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 4)
Following the race, Ryan Mania reported that he pulled up MASSINI MAN as he felt the gelding had lost its action after jumping the water jump on the first circuit. The Veterinary Officer examined the gelding post-race and had nothing to report.
