    Vamos Espana!

Campeones de Europa por cuarta vez.

....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.

When you consider that Spain may have Pedri and Gavi back for the World Cup they will be even more formidable. The English players are probably overrated and are due an unfavourable draw at some point. In 2028 they’ll have home advantage again so that might be their best chance

    Southgate’s gone
he done well in his stint in terms of getting into 2 finals but was too negative in his tactics for my liking

So who would you like as his replacement, Nathan and who would you replace the shot-stopping bluenose with?

Pickford is probably the best of a bad bunch.. just pass the ball out from the back. If everyone is marked have the ability to clip it into the midfield.. players need to move if being marked
Sometimes you will have no choice in hitting it long but it looked to be a tactic from the get go and not a good one
Keep the ball, control the game.

Manager wise I’m not too fussed.. I’d rather Taunton Town win a corner than England win a World Cup.

Someone like Potter would probably come into contention
I’m not sure it would suit a Klopp or Pep but that would be a wow appointment

Potter seems pretty hot favourite. Since he couldn’t handle the abuse he got as Chelsea manager, I am not sure he’ll fancy it though. I can’t see Klopp or Pep being interested either. Steven Gerrard popped up in a dream I had last night for no reason at all so might have a couple of quid on him, even though it would cost a lot of money to bring him back from Saudi.

Would like to see Eddie Howe get it, would be fairly sure he would do a good job. I can’t say the same about Potter or Carsley.
