Good point. Racing never seems to understand that there are a plethora of other options for betting now. If punters think racing isn’t a level playing field and rigged against them, they will bet on something else instead.

These lads might have landed themselves a right touch but the many more punters who backed other horses in those races are going to think they have been fleeced.

Ladbrokes have accepted defeat and agreed to pay him.

Ridiculous of Ladbrokes to make so much fuss and cause so much bad publicity for the sake of €100,000. Which is probably being transferred from the marketing budget.
