Marine Nationale is a Cheltenham horse and a springtime horse we should all know that by now. :o)

It’ll hopefully be a different state of play at Cheltenham on nicer ground. He’s never run on heavy before, but I thought he might get away with it. He just didn’t seem to enjoy it at any stage of the race.
I’m disappointed not to win but we gave it a go. He’s not a hard horse to get fit, so I could have skipped today but I wanted to support the race. That’s what we did and I think we’ll see a different horse on spring ground.”
