God knows where my pick was :(
January 25, 2007 at 17:03 #36188The Hermon Brown horse ran a shocker, couldnt believe the price it went off, i had backed it at 7/2 (there again, it doesnt matter what price i got now!!!)
Agree with you Irish Stamp, the Brazilian horses very underrated, couldnt believe Greetings was available to back at nearly 7’s i helped myself to enough of someones money anyway  got me out of a whole from Championship Point too…….. going to leave that horse alone now.
Great ride from Hills on the Dunlop horse, i usually can’t stand him but that was a good ride, although if the gaps hadn’t have come it would have been one of the worst rides ever!
The Brazilian sprinters still available to back on the exchanges at around 9/1 i advise people to get on…… you can back them blind early in the carnival and usually make a huge profit.
January 25, 2007 at 17:36 #36189Go for Gold is a most interesting horse in the next, obviously had problems, but connections keep persisting and Ted is on
I can see Book of Music going well, but ground is a big worry
January 25, 2007 at 17:39 #36190Thank God for Quijano, dug me out of a hole.
How can people not like the flat?

January 25, 2007 at 17:48 #36191This next one is difficult because there’s so much unrated/unknown form. Might try a stab in the dark with one of the longer priced ones.
January 25, 2007 at 17:55 #36192going for Aliysa because I don’t think 10/1 is its true chance of winning. Lightly raced and proven on dirt, and any horse that is sent off at 1/10 in a Group 3 must be very well thought of.
January 25, 2007 at 18:03 #36193Cracking Sprint FSL
Will Tax Free handle the Dirt?
it’s an unknown but his sire does well on the Fibresand, is a prominent runner and could be well drawn, of the other Para Choque could be anything, Tropical Star looks to have had a pipe opener for this and owt De Mike runs needs to be respected
I’ll take a chance on the unknowns with Tax Free and Para Choque

January 25, 2007 at 18:11 #36194Left it out and goes and wins
<br>Tax Free ran well, but draw has done for him by the looks
January 25, 2007 at 18:11 #36195However Tax Free was made the fav i never know. Not bred for dirt and overrated.
Aliysa ran a hell of a race running on her own, put her back down to five furlongs and the others willl not see which way she went, she just didnt quite get home. I got the place money on her.
For a three year old what a cracking race she has run.
January 25, 2007 at 18:14 #36196Another one i backed that traded at odds-on in running that got beaten :(. I don’t back them e/w on Betfair so don’t lay ’em off. At least i got the small profit for the place.

January 25, 2007 at 18:15 #36197Don’t all laugh at once, but does Don’t Dili Dali have a squeak in the last?
January 25, 2007 at 18:19 #36198The last is the hardest race on the card IMO. If the De Kock runner is fit and well i think it should take all the beating but its a lot of ifs especially when the De Kock runners havent been showing their usual sparkle (apart from his winner last week)
Ive gone for Missisipi Star but havent had a bet
January 25, 2007 at 18:21 #36199Watching head on replay, i’d say Tax Free handled the surface well, but did too much early on, was drawn on the wrong side and add to this, he’s not run since October and connections should be well please
the 1st and 2nd had a prep run

Everyone seems to be raving about this trainer but the horse’s form figures are less than inspiring.
I’m going for split stakes on Don’t Dili Dali and Desert Realm. Desert Realm is being run by the home guard and ran a cracker last time, the only worry is perhaps the ground but I think it is a fantastic each way price. DDD is an old favourite of mine and is capable of being in the shake up if she puts her mind to it.
January 25, 2007 at 18:27 #36201I wouldn’t say they would be pleased, i think he was well supported by connections. I wasn’t convinced he handled the dirt. He may have been doing too much early as you say but i thought he was not liking the surface and kickback.
Will be good to see what he is like next time though, just to get a better view on him over there.
Hope they don’t run him too soon, i think thats what did Lost Soldier Three earlier on in the card
January 25, 2007 at 18:30 #36202God’s hoss for me, hopefully he gets a dream run on this one too
January 25, 2007 at 18:32 #36203Aye it knows how to win, all it needs is a good strong driving finish.
Come to think of it though, that may pose a problem…..
