Marb IMO what you eat cheese wise is fine. It’s not what I call processed..What is processed and nasty are those orange cheese slices you can buy in packs of 10/20. Bavarian smoked is processed. Dairy lea and La vache qui rie are a bit nasty. Just avoid those orange slives!! :D Proper cheddar is a fantastic product of this country..

As I have said on other threads, food snobbery drives me up the wall, round the bend and down the road to Morrisons. This lunchtime my daughter and I dined on a plate of chicken nuggets (value pack) and curly fries. They were delicious.

My problem with stringy cheese is that I don’t understand why anyone would need their cheese to be stringy. There’s nothing wrong with normal cheese is there?

Marb your thread has inspired me. I will eat cheese on toast this evening.

dear Marb, having problems with your cheese I see…

try Seriously Strong cheddar, grated, with a few drops of Tabasco Sauce on top – it’s enough to blow your head off  ….not that I’d want this to happen to you :)

The finest Cheddar i have tasted is Keens. Especially if you get it from Neals Yard Dairy

    Better than nuggets…
