A bit more radical today and some higher prices, could be my undoing!
Ayr 3:30 Mu’ajiza @ 6.8
In second start, beaten by expressly who went on to run in a group one race. Third start was unsurprisingly not a huge success but beaten by some progressive looking horses. Could be a lenient mark on first handicap start.
Ayr 4:00 Roker Park @ 7.2
Once rated as high as 97 having one off a mark of 86 and today racing off 75. Steadily dropping down the weights, hopefully today is the day at a nice price.
Ayr 5:00 Dester Revolution @ 6.4
Although there are other obvious dangers, it might be worth siding with this unexposed younger horse against older more exposed rivals.
August 12, 2013 at 19:27 #448237A frustrating day today!!
Ayr 3:30 Mu’ajiza @ 6.8 finished third
Ayr 4:00 Roker Park @ 7.2 finished second by a head
Ayr 5:00 Dester Revolution @ 6.4 finished 4th
two horses in the frame and one attempting to make all, two of them traded very low in running! On another day who knows!

Three times a lady @ 2.64
Sir Mark Prescot’s only runner at the dark and in a rich vein of form. There are some notable rivals but the trainer has an excellent strike rate here.
Nottingham 6:35
Fleged @ 2.12
Nottingham 7:35
Beau Mistral @ 3.5
August 12, 2013 at 20:58 #448245What is interesting is that Hannon runs a horse at leicester in the 2:25 called Shafrah, currently unraced but holding an entry in the Dewhurst, obviously they have elected to use Hughes elsewhere, probably as there are more rides. In that same race there’s also a Godolphine newcomer worth 140,000gns. A race to watch for sure!
I was at Leicester and thought Shafrah ran a cracker nstath. I’ve not watched the replay but he looked to be travelling well and Levey chose to go with Torrid and it was good to see Shafrah get the better of the Amanda Perrett horse and in hindsight perhaps should of followed his stablemate but promising debut all the same.
Shafrah going to post.

A really strong run and some telling market support during the dayBeau Mistral @ 3.5
finished first
Again justified strong market support, went off around 6/4Total for the day is

more selections tomorrow as I/we attempt to find winners each day
August 14, 2013 at 07:21 #448326Beverly 2:40 Innocent Touch @ 4.6 (possibly higher sp)
Bit of a risk here but looks to be a fairly ordinary race. Entry further down the line in an expensive race so stable must hold some hope, wouldn’t need to be a world beater to make the frame.
Salisbury 3:55 Rock Choir @ 3.7
Still relatively unexposed and a previous winner over the trip. Looks open to more improvement.
Yarmouth 5:35 Jonnie Skull @ 10
Loves to race from the front and on this course it can be extremely hard to catch a front runner. If Queally can get an easy lead he might also trade very low in running.
good luck
