As far as delving into connections statements regarding future targets, chateau conti and saturnas should be lining up in this
Saturnas connections have said he may step up, but his last win was 2m, if he wins this will he go supreme?
And as ive said countless times my main supreme fancy was chateau conti, hopefully he can be half decent in this and his price for the supreme crashes
Anyone know if these two will be turning up? For certain?, will probably get a more on at big prices(supreme/neptune)if they are Before the race on sunday
Surely one of them will be half good
February 9, 2017 at 10:28 #1286545Saturnas is being aimed at The Neptune so you would think this would be a good prep race for him..
February 9, 2017 at 10:42 #1286548Is he? I thought i read that the supreme was still very much an option, i suppose sunday will be telling!!

February 10, 2017 at 11:19 #1286646Can’t see anyone who has this race priced up…..
February 10, 2017 at 11:34 #1286647I take that back…..just found it…
February 12, 2017 at 14:15 #1287082Plenty of money for Bunk Off Early in the week; if Saturnas didn’t already have the form in the book, Ruby would be on him.

Good man well spotted.
February 14, 2017 at 18:43 #1287403Gord, what’s your verdict on Bacardys? I rate him more of a Neptune horse and wouldn’t want to see him running in that graveyard called Albert Bartlett. Mullins on the other hand thinks he needs a trip and that 3 miles would suit him better. I don’t quite agree with him and rate Bacardys a top Neptune prospect, however I’m missing the confidence coming from his stable. He doesn’t have to wear the Ricci silks in order to win at the Festival.
Just like to hear your thoughts on him.February 14, 2017 at 19:39 #1287411Gord, what’s your verdict on Bacardys? Just like to hear your thoughts on him.Good question Ruby..Bacardys has speed, his hold up tactics work a treat over 21/2m,16/1 for the Neptune is generous. Why he’s only 10/1 for the Albert Bartlett surprises me as the Neptune is the easier race. He’s won PTP over 3m but thats a different ball game to the Stamina test of the Albert Bartlett. He’d be up against ‘Death Duty’ an out and out stayer who will clock sectionals to test all,’Wholestone’ who is my biggest danger to the winner West Approach but I’d still fear ‘Bacardys’ if he ran.The Neptune has the talkin horse ‘Finians Oscar’ and my idea of the winner in Messire des Obeaux but I’d fear ‘Bacardys’ more in that personally…One thing to bear in mind is something I’ve said for years on here and thats ‘Whatever wins the Delloitte Wins at Cheltenham’,I could name 10 horses who have done that double in the past 20 years so you could back him for both if that Stat maintains its incredible strike rate.
February 14, 2017 at 20:20 #1287416backed battleford at 25/1 in the bumper last year, only problem was it was in-play and so win only, was fuming getting done on the line lol!
February 14, 2017 at 21:49 #1287434IMO if you don’t think your Neptune fancy could compete in a Champion Hurdle in a year’s time, forget him. Need to apply this advice to my own Neptune bets next year…
February 15, 2017 at 09:12 #1287481Was more impressed with the second. The way that travelled in softish ground brought to mind Rooster booster. Obviously you’d expect it to improve for spring ground, only problem is could it be a short runner? Seems to be quite speedily bred.
