And this not the strongest derby trail you see.

Very disappointing turnout at chester for trials. Only grosvenor square looks just now a Derby prospect. Heading there now so hopefully get a wow performance. Is Diego going to France now. Was hoping to see him in the chester vase.

Seeing as AW form played a part in the first two Classics I’ll go with Bracken’s Laugh to buck the trend.

Gods window for me @9/4, laying the same horse for the same reason as ginge + i dont like the formline

No secret about how undercooked aidens are first out for the season, capulet could really improve here, i may save on him, i think he shoulc be slighlty shorter than 9/2

Jayarebe will do for me around 5/2..PP

Won in good style going away at The Craven Meeting 17th April, great turn of foot. Caviar Heights, who franked the form on Saturday, was in 3rd place.

Haven’t taken the price yet as waiting for folk to follow Ginger in and lay him 🤭 so hoping for at least 3/1. :good:

I would like to think that GODS WINDOW can improve again, her Futurity run as a juvenile has worked out well and from that race who he beat Diego Velazquez by a length who had prior beaten Capulet in a Group 2 in Ireland.

I’ve joined Darren albeit at a shorter price on Capulet for the reasons he gives, think this might be his trip too.
Added a double with Point Lonsdale as well.

Point Lonsdale should certainly be ready. If he stays the trip surely a good thing. If there ever was such a thing.🤣

O’Brien has won 5 of the last 6 runnings and 8 of the last 11. Moore has had more winners round Chester than the other four jockeys put togther. Capulet has by far the best form from his two Group race placings last year.

Jayarebe got a flattering wind assisted success at Nmkt and he remains the only winner Meehan has managed this year from 26 runners. Someone above mentioned for Meehan, “stable out of form” – you’d need the memory of an entire herd of elephants to recall the last time he was in form.

Only problem with capulet is he’s a very awkward horse to ride. Seamie was accused of not trying hard enough on him v Diego but subsequent runs shows he carries himself awkwardly. Plus chester not the easiest track either. In fairness if he’s there 2f out I fancy he will win plus he has the now very necessary first run that coolmore horses seem to need.

Ap, i wouldnt say capulet has by far the best group race placing, not sure theres much in it through diego velasquez

Gods window has drifted out to such a nice price that hes a rock solid e/w bet now imo, which i didnt forsee happening, fairly well backed him 3.5s upto 4.5s in singles but out to 5.0- 5.5 on the e/w market for a few quid, id be surprised if hes not atleast good enough to finish second

Hugh taylors tipped the fav which is a big help to any GW backers also, getting a far bigger price than his actual chance

Turning into a big bet now
