I don’t know the fate of the following horses, but none looked very promising:

Carpet Elegance – Fell, Flipped (Back/Neck Injury?)

Charminamix – Brokedown / Broken Leg? Pulled Up

Asia To Cuba – Pulled Up After 1st Hurdle (Injured?)

Silgo – Pulled Up Quick (Brokedown / Broken Leg?)

Any news? Hoping it won’t be like Tramore earlier this month…

I presume you are an avid follower of the death notices in the newspapers.
People die ,horses die. That is the way it is.

No, I’m one of those people who was watching the racing and wanted to know if anyone heard what happened to those horses, since they never seem to tell you anything on the tv or online.

Forgive me for caring, but unlike some I don’t care about how much money I get back off the bookies.

& yes I’m fully aware that horses die, having grown up and ridden them since I was 4.

We know that Bluechariot, but I don’t think it is morbid to want to know how horses are after a fall, particularly as commentators are very bad at letting us know what has happened to injured horses.
We are not all as hard-hearted as you, as is proved by the crowd reaction when a horse which has been down a long time gets up and walks away. I think most racing fans do care about the horses’ wellfare. The Memorials section has proved that people want to mark the sad demise of what is sometimes a much-loved horse.

Whilst on the subject, I assume that Findsara has put this question on here because it seems the Memorials section has disappeared. I know the question of where it is has been asked but I found the answer given to be unsatisfactory in terms of accesssing it from the Board Index in order to contribute and/or keep up to date with it.

Administrators, what have you done with it?

Yes some people like to watch racing because they love horses & have little or in my case no interest in betting. I want to know what happens to the horses in a race & no I ma in no way an animal rights supporter.

Yes I agree! Its terrible to see horses injured, and I think its only human nature to care about the welfare of injured race horses, particularly if you have just witnessed the falls!
