Thanks Silent, it’s been a tricky afternoon. I’ve still got one to run sometime at Ayr. Just watched your last runner finish fast but just too late. I’m chuffed to have won but I think I’ve fallen over the winning line rather than sprint through it.

Just found out the result of the late running Ayr 1.55.
A nice winning 11/4 Nap , Fast Tracker was my only scoring horse of the day. 14×2 = 28 points.

I did actually pick the Ayr Gold Cup winner in Neil’s handicap competition so it’s not been a bad day for me. I’ve certainly had lots worse.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to see who has won and post congratulations. It’s much appreciated. My last win was in August 2019 , a 4PP competition run by Bob Rolf. So it’s been a while.
I’d like to thank Nathan for the time consuming task of keeping the competition on track and also thanks to Tryptich for making the draw that led me the Final.
The 5 week opening group was fun against Chestnut and Quadrilla. After those 5 weeks I finished top of the group by just 2 points. So it wasn’t plain sailing , it never is.
My next opponents were Illavim , Kingmonkey, Robnorth and finally Silent Assassin. Everyone has played the game in good spirit and I’ve enjoyed all the head to head contests.

Looking forward to trying to retain my title next year.
