I would not back her now because the big prices have gone but Jade De Grugy won well at Fairyhouse today. She travelled strongly and looks like she has gears. If she lines up I will be backing her.
January 27, 2024 at 18:03 #1678862The Irish look to have a strong hand with Brighterdaysahead and Jade Du grugy
Iv not taken to Dysart Enos for some reason
Iv a sneaking suspicion when something gets her off the bridle she won’t find anything
January 27, 2024 at 18:21 #1678869I is with Jade Du Grugy 8-1 for this
January 27, 2024 at 18:40 #1678875Of course, Mike. I would expect nothing less.
January 27, 2024 at 20:52 #1678907If we are aftertiming I’m on Brighterdaysahead at 12s and jade de grugy at 8s nrnb
January 27, 2024 at 21:00 #1678910FF I won’t have negative words spoken (or typed) about my girl Dysart Enos! She’s the most gorgeous horse with the talent to match. She’s underrated because she’s trained in England and by Fergal who has never had a festival winner (surely a matter of time).
I’ve loved her since watching her point to point run via Irish Thoroughbred Marketing channel on Youtube. She was incredibly green throughout but stayed on strongly when the penny dropped. It was clear to my eye she was better than the winner and I’ve backed her on every start so far – even that hasn’t stopped her so far
Oh and how’s this for after timing. I backed her for this in April at 10s
I did have her in my TRF 10 to follow last season so hopefully that makes the above more believable to Tizzards Cider
March 5, 2024 at 19:47 #1683699Couldn’t split the top two and at those current prices I’ll look for a bit of each way value. I’ve put a small bet on JOYEUSE from Nicky and the Henderson’s yard at 25/1.
Form has been franked nicely from the runner up of her latest win, I doubt she’ll have enough to win but I hope she is still a good each way price when the decs are out as I would like 5 places.March 14, 2024 at 08:02 #1685708I am on Jade De Grugy at 4/1. Although the most interesting runner is Dysart Enos, a prominent British trained runner in a novice race.
Will she buck the trend? Or will she be another one who has looked good but is blown away by the Irish trained novices?

March 14, 2024 at 16:39 #1685989Jade de Grugy for the win (how often does Mullins run just one in this?) though the Elliott mare will be very hard to beat.
Mollys Mango ew, I like the trainer and she settled in well there apparently.March 14, 2024 at 16:41 #1685990“Dawn Run Novices Hurdle.
