Lol Grimes, I liked the story about your golfing escapades, I had a right chortle
Thought the captain was a bit hard on your bro, but funny nonetheless. Talking about
“Flash” I’m going to have to flash up the road after visiting the hospital and leave
MrsG in charge of the Scotties down here. I’ll be back down the following morning but
I could have done without the 700+ miles round trip

I’ll get my golf picks in later tonight :good:

Okay have my picks nice and early this week.

    TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP
    W/O Fedex

    X SCHAUFFELE 25/1
    P CASEY 25/1
    C REAVIE 80/1

    SCANDINAVIAN MASTERS

    E MOLINARI 45/1
    M KINHULT 50/1
    R KARLSSON 100/1
    T PULKKANEN 150/1

I think they have actually spoiled the Tour Champs with this handicapping system and it is a shame because the best player won’t necessarily win the tournament

Anyway moan over good luck this week guys :good:

Got mine in early so I can concentrate on York :good:

    Great stuff, BigG.

That 700 mile trip is on an epic scale in my book, as I barely trust myself to drive into Auld Reekie, 2 miles away at most. I’ve been having a series of minor skirmishes with parked cars, kerbs, etc, so that I now have to pay £70 a week on a Ford Focus ! That distance is probably the distance of Darren’s driveway in front of his mansion! I’ve done his McIlroy and Matsuyama. The latter is buzzing now isn’t he ? And Mac can beat the best when on song.

    Grimes no mansion yet mate

Bets for Boise open on Kornferry tour

    JUSTIN HARDING 28/1

Has improved a lot this year won on European tour play well in events in America to was 7th last week and every chance will improve for it think can win this to cement a PGA Tour card

    BEAU HOSSLER 30/1

Lost PGA Tour card and but bounce back when he was 2nd last week he a cool customer has a lovely putting stroke as well.A drop down in grade for him and be biggest danger to Harding

    ADAM SVENSSON 55/1

Was 5th here in 2017 in final events on PGA Tour was playing well hitting the ball well only worry is with putter in hand but if that comes alive every chance a threat here.

    Scandinavian Masters

Erik Van Rooyen 16/1 (28/1 1st round leader market)

No superstars in this event, so you’d have to give Van Rooyen a bit of
a shout. He deserves his place as one of the favourites and Sky are maybe
sticking their neck out offering the 16s. He’s been there or thereabouts
all year and although he’s not got his head in front he’s had 9 top 20s
which include 5 top 10s. Shot a nice 1st round 65 last week in the Czech
Masters and a similar start here would have him in the mix for the 1st
    round leader.

Andrea Pavan 20/1 (40/1 1st round leader market)

I’m in agreement with Darren, this guy has a very decent chance here. Not much
to add that darren hasn’t already said, and whilst it’s already been highlighted
by Darren that he finished with a 7 under par 65 last week, I think it’s also worth
noting that he finished here last year with a blistering final round 64. He’s way
overpriced by Betfred at 40/1 in the 1st round leader market. I’ve had a pretty
    decent bet on that.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout 40/1 (66/1 1st round leader market)

He was a nice winner for me at 80/1 in the Andalucia Masters back in june, and although
he went off the boil a bit in the 3 Opens (Scottish, Irish and the big one), he was
playing out of his skin before that. He’s done the right thing and taken a month off
which should have him fully recharged and ready for this.

Gavin Green 66/1 (70/1 1st round leader market)

He took the honours for me last week in the 1st round betting at 40/1, and then made a
complete mess of the rest of the tournament. He’s better than that, and I think the odds
compilers have taken that result too literally, and priced him up on the back of it. He’s
had 3 top 10s in his last 6 outings, and I think that is what he’s best judegd on. There
is no way he should be at those odds, and I’ve piled in.

I’ve had a quick look at the Tour Championship, and I’m less than impressed with the format
they’ve come up with. From a betting perspective it’s a no go area for me. It’s late and I’m
playin catch up again, so I’ll maybe have a look at the without strokes market in the morning.

It’s been going really well recently, here’s hoping out luck holds out for another good week :good:

    Tour Championship

I’ve almost lost interest in this one before it even starts. I’ve stuck on
4, all outright w/o starting strokes. There’s no 1st round betting without
the points, so I’ve no interest in that market, and JT has a huge advantage.
    Here’s my 4.

John Rahm 12/1 (special offer boost from 10/1 on Willie Hill)

Tony Finau 25/1 (special offer boost from 20/1 on WH)

    Matt Kucher 50/1

Chez Reavie 80/1 (I really only wanted to back him 1st round, but couldn’t
    chance leaving him out)

    Bah humbug :-(

ROFL, BigG ! I bet I laughed more uncontrollably at the thought of your good lady wife giving you what for, for obsessing about the betting on holiday. Even on holiday! Such are the trials of the ‘calculated-risk taker’ – won’t say, ‘bettor’ and give the game away). I warned you about it, didn’t I… ?!? Tee hee tither tither, as they used to say in the Beano, Dandy, Knockout, etc, when I were a nipper (pronounced with that Yorkshire accent of the old boy in the Hovis advertisements). What a nice gloss those wins will have put on your holiday, anyway.

You lot are probably all too young to remember the Beano and Dandy. The Hovis ad for that matter!

Early days, Dazzler, but Justin Hardin joint-leader, with one of your others, Fitzpatrick also ‘tops’ and in there swinging, it looks like you’re still ‘firng on all cylindes.

Had to laugh seeing how your tip, the said Fitzpatrick (who you deemed should have been clear favourite) had come in from 10s to 5/2 ! And then your 500/1 shot in to 150.

By my reckoning after two rounds that makes it
    Rory -7
    Xander -7
    Paul Casey -7
    Cupcake -6
    Chez Reavie -5
Kuch Adam Scott and JT all at -2

which aint looking bad for me but I am waiting for the wheels to fall off!! LOL

Wow. You’re all at it again. Fitz is down a few strokes but look at Wu, Ormsby and Van Ruuyen. Was Burmester also one of someone’s tips ? I wish I’d done Schauffeler at 12s ; he’s now 6s. I didn’t have a penny on him this time. Pleased Supermac, Rory, is giving it stick at the top there. I’ll be pleased if he wins. I did Matusyama at 33s, and I think he could be ‘in with a shout’, with 2 days still to go, as it’s not yet ‘all over bar the shouting’, to homogenize the metaphor!

Can’t remember the 500/1 shot, now, Dazzler. It might even have been in the tennis ! Perhaps the lad with the mighty serve. I’m almost getting as much excitement out of the big-price wins and and places you lads are finding, as if they were my own. Maybe one day I’ll plck up the courage to do them, or a selection of them – but then, I fear it might put the mockers on them.

Yes, the 50/1 shot was Reily Opelka in the tennis (US Open), the big server. Just seen it in your opening post there.

I’m still fairly sweet on Simona Halep’s chances, though she’s a little tiddler (the Mighty Atom) compared to some of them, so presumably covering the court full pelt in high-power matches against the Amazons will be asking a lot again. But she looked so focuse and determined. Somehow, she must still enjoy the game, to have been so successful so far.

No. Fitz is only 1 shot doon, as you said, Daz. I thought I’d posted this hours ago!

Wow. Your bets ‘inventory’ is looking extra good isn’t it? I just hope Rory Mac wins. He doesn’t have to be doing handsprngs.

I forgot to mention, Daz, I put something on Dean Burman – I think he was a good price, considering his current position and his round of 62, although Donaldson on the same mark at -10 scored a round of 63. I also took your advice concerning Bianca Andreescu at 18/1, I think.

Don’t want you to get too excited Raymo, but by my calculations our man Reavie, at -8
(in market w/o the additional points) is leading the way. It’s only half way through
the 3rd round, but at this point I make it that those, without additional points, who
are under par are as follows…….

    Reavie -8
    Casey -7
    Rory -6
    Schauffele -6
    Koepka -4
    Cantley -3
    DeChambeau -3
    Woodland -2
    Scott -2
    Kisner -2
    Conners -2
    Matsuyama -1
    Finau -1

All the rest are either par or worse. Long way to go, but at 80/1 he’s at least right in the hunt.
Here’s hoping he can keep it up :good:

I’m also pleased to see my man Van Rooyen has pulled his way to the front in the Scandinavian
Invitational. He’s one clear going into the last, but I don’t think Fitzpatrick is in any way
done yet, he’s a huge threat.

Looking forward to tomorrow to see how it unfolds. Good luck guys :good:
