Perhaps it is just me but does anyone else think the racing media is obsessed with this pair? Every time they have a runner, SSR and RTV seem to be all over them.
Yesterday at Southwell, one of their horses (Grizedale) finished second in the 5.15. It started slowly, stayed on well but had no chance with the winner Dixieland Blues (which to my mind was idling in front).
As soon as the race finished, Matt Chapman couldn’t wait to excitedly interview Daniel Kubler. Then when his sycophancy had finished, Alex Hammond joined in back in the studio. They hardly mentioned the winner at all.
I have no animosity towards the Kublers but the way the racing media go on about a pair with a little over 100 winners in 5 years is a bit tiresome sometimes.
