Didn’t look to take to it last time but really positive vibes about cause of causes, Jamie codd – confident has schooled well since. Big chance.

Interesting they sent him to Cheltenham as well to prep
March 7, 2017 at 00:03 #1290261He was my Ante-Post NAP for The Kim Muir last year, and my Ante-Post NAP for The Ultima this year, but once I seen that entry for The Cross Country at The January fixture, and I knew that Ultima bet was in trouble.
I think his spin round there on Trials Day was nothing more than a “sighter”, and I was more than happy to go back in on him again for this. Good luck guys if you’re playing.
March 7, 2017 at 07:51 #1290277Hi. New to this forum but have been following it for a few weeks now. Very informative and based my chelt anti post bets on the chat posted here. What chances Cantalow ? Backed it months ago but chatter seems very limited re this horse

I never watch Cantlows races now during the year, because you know he will run like a dog. Just something happens to him when he gets to Cheltenham. He’s the first horse i look for when the prices come out. I think the national is the main target this year, quite positive he wont be 33’s the end of next week for that
March 7, 2017 at 18:16 #1290365Thanks Botchy, never considered for GN. Will get on quick now
March 9, 2017 at 21:14 #1290701I’ve added Cause of Causes at 20’s for this. Trainer hinted last night that he may go here, and he won’t be anything near that price on the day if he does.
Everytime i look at oddchecker, this horse is a sea of blue. I joined the party at 8s,which im happy with. Down to 4s now and will probably shorten further. Good spot VtC
March 9, 2017 at 21:39 #1290721I took more on Ballyboker Bridge at 75’s last night. BB beat Cantlow by 6 lengths conceding 7lbs 12 months ago and lost by 2 lengths off level weights in a more recent rematch. Maher knows how to get one ready for Cheltenham having won this race with Big Shu 4 years ago and I think the entry of COC and focus on EB leaves people forgetting about BB. He has beaten Cantlow twice, Auvergnat, Foxrock and 3 previous winners of this race and he is currently available at 44’s.Worth a fiver or tenner of anyones money. He went off 16/1 last year and I can see 25’s shortening to around the same price in a race that often goes to double figure horses. Last 5 years:
Any Currency – 10/1
Rivage D’or – 16/1
Balthazar King – 10/1 (first time)
Big Shu – 14/1March 9, 2017 at 21:43 #1290724I took more on Ballyboker Bridge at 75’s last night. Big Shu – 14/1I took a look at some of your earlier posts on this Charlie. You’ve seemed sweet on BB for a while. Sounds like a good payday if he wins. Its a right old gamble going on CoC mind you. Should make for an interesting spectacle in a race i don’t like but had to join the CoC bandwagon

It’s up there with ADO in terms of return. If BB wins this I will be
I also have the BB ADO double which would be
(one can dream)I can see why people would jump on the COC bandwagon, definitely. I am less concerned by the support than I am why he is in this race full stop. His festival form plus the fact he is one of Gordon’s will see this probably go off favourite, it’s understandable.
I am leaving BB alone now but will be backing Auvergnat on the day.
March 9, 2017 at 22:22 #1290741The double would be a monster. Does that ‘Auvergnat’ want soft?? Gets pretty firm on the cross country course? I backed Any Currency a few years ago at big prices only to watch him get out battled by Balthazar King on the run in. Thats the closest i’ve come
March 9, 2017 at 22:33 #1290743Acted on good ground before and was running very well on gd/sft before UR at cheltenham last time. Loved Balthazar King!

Fair enough, its probably got a squeak then. I was a big BK fan too – except that day
Backed it in the National when it got injured – at the canal turn i think. Shame really, lovely horseMarch 10, 2017 at 07:15 #1290775Cantlow will win this :
March 10, 2017 at 07:57 #1290785Katie Walsh was adamant last night that COC couldn’t win this and all the sharp bends would catch him out. Said the horse was beat last year with ages left, managed to hang onto something and eventually flew home, can’t do that in a x country.

Interesting info, cheers Foleroo.
March 10, 2017 at 16:43 #1290856Been on Auvergnat since the day after he unseated in the prep race.
I’d backed him that day too and he was tanking along When slipping up.
Don’t rate Cantlow at all.
