Okay, it’s hardly Lear Fan v Rainbow Quest (1984, for those too young to remember), but today’s clash between Hawk Mountain and Hidden Force could be a good one. With the ground drying out, I would fancy the Godolphin colt to have too much speed for the Coolmore representative over this trip.
Hankelow coming out means we’re down to seven, but I have had a small e/w bet on Avicenna to make the first two. He’s unbeaten and could be anything; the drift this morning is a tad worrying but he’s still worth a small investment.
