I suppose the quick reappearance is a concern but I wonder what price Surprise Package would be if he was trained by Mullins or Elliott?

Happy with the 14/1 I took about West Cork a few weeks ago although the Skeltons have had a very quiet week.

Had to back First Street. I think the course will suit him after he finished so strongly at Newbury.

My Mate Mozzie and Farout both have good novice form and are tempting at big prices.

Not going to tie myself in knots here. Could change my mind every two minutes with the Mullins Battalions, so I’ll stick with Suprise Package, and my Antepost Pick Favoir.

Faivoir is BOG anyway Antepost, but I’d like him to the seven places, so I’ll top
    him up at 66’s.

    Faivoir 66’s EW 7pls
    Suprise Package 11’s

Not sure you can call 8/1 a fancy price but i’m happy i took that for State Man antepost as he’s very short now. Ruby has napped him and thinks he’s the old chestnut ‘graded horse in a handicap’.

Also played Eclair De Beaufeu each way at 40s and Felix Desjy at 80/1.

Not going too big in this so it’s small goes on I Like To Move It, Colnol Mustard and Top Bandit.

    Eclair De Beuaf e/w
    Faivoir e/w
    Bua Boy e/w (free bet)

At the mo i’m struggling to decide between West Cork, Top Bandit and Suprise Package for a win only bet. Will decide in next hour.

I’ll just go with a few ew outsiders

Tax For Max 25-1 – two stone lighter and hopefully a bit wiser this year
Cask Mate 66-1- hope his dodgy run last time was a blip
Dysart Diamond 66-1 maybe not well handicapped but the ground is drying

Plumped for Top Bandit for my win only, to add to my e/w bets in above post.

    Best of luck to all👍

Got three in the places. Just my luck there was a Mullins horse chucked in at the weights!

Fair play to Townend. He has his critics but that was a cool headed, confident ride.

I am not usually that bothered about jockey camera footage but this one from Aidan Coleman on Ballyadam in the County is a good watch:
