The someone somewhere is you FF… and all readers then.
Value Is EverythingJune 17, 2022 at 13:43 #1602716As much as I want Inspiral to win the trainer(s) seem to be talking as if this is a prep race with the ‘she is ready for a race but will come on for the run’ and the less said about the jockey and his Royal Ascot fortunes so far the better.
She will need to be every bit as far ahead of her contemporaries as a 3yr old as she was as a 2yr old in order to overcome all that and on her seasonal debut to boot.
June 17, 2022 at 13:53 #1602720Inspiral went out to 7/2 but now back down to 11/4.
Gosden’s words may be more to do with limiting expectations and taking some pressure off his jockey.
Value Is EverythingJune 17, 2022 at 14:13 #1602725Possibly but I not sure it would matter what he said to Frankie at this stage as he will be putting more than enough pressure on himself – with the way his fortunes aren’t going odds are that in stall 5 on a hold up horse like Inspiral in a 12 runner race around a bend he will end up finding whatever trouble is lurking out there.

June 17, 2022 at 15:13 #1602746Sorry typed in wrong thread just now.
June 17, 2022 at 15:39 #1602757I’ll pin my hopes on Tenebrism bouncing back here at 10-1
June 17, 2022 at 16:13 #1602772After the week Dettori has had, I would not back Inspiral with my own money. But I have a free bet and have thrown it on her.
She has the best form and if she runs up to it she wins. If not, it is no loss to me.
June 17, 2022 at 16:16 #1602773I like Discoveries (12s now) based on her solid Moyglare win on good ground and I could also imagine Grand Dame finding some improvement and run into a place.
Not quite sure the French horses will like the fast ground.
June 17, 2022 at 16:26 #1602776Wow – special horse
June 17, 2022 at 16:27 #1602777Wow!
If she’ll “come on” from that…
Value Is EverythingJune 17, 2022 at 16:28 #1602778Get In!
Value Is EverythingJune 17, 2022 at 16:28 #1602779I think its fair to say Gosden downplayed her chances when she was really ready to roll. ;o)
June 17, 2022 at 16:30 #1602780Blimey, all over in a few strides. Reminded me of her Dad.
June 17, 2022 at 16:30 #1602781That was the performance of the week for me
Exceptional
June 17, 2022 at 16:31 #1602782Wd winners.
June 17, 2022 at 16:33 #1602783Can’t really remember her dad winning from ten lengths off the pace, but she was highly impressive
