Blue: I’m sorry to hear that. I was poorly treated by a bookie’s CS team last week so I know how you feel. I can only apologise

Not your fault personally but there is a lot of work to be done there behind Simon Clare’s smile.
Another incident was 2 months ago I was ticketed in my letterbox for an unpaid letter and requested to pay £2 for the delivery, I paid and found it to be another promotion from Coral with unpaid postage so shambles again.
I’ll still bet with them IF their odds are better but for a top firm it needs serious attention.

Purwell: thanks for mentioning this. It’s the first I’ve heard of a Windows phone issue, but I’ll get it raised as a high priority. I don’t have one myself, so what happens when you try to get on the site? Does the homepage load then freeze or does it crash before that?

Home page loads and I can log in, but I cannot open any markets. this is Windows 8.1 by the way.

Can only agree with what others have said regarding the website, it’s awful. Have had problems for quite a while when clicking on the price and nothing happening. Not something you would want to use close to the start time. Strangely haven’t had this problem when using my tablet it has only beem on my PC. No response from Corals when I contacted them.

To be honest my intention is to only use ABP bookies now anyway.

    Hi all,

TYF here – new account, long story.

I’m sorry that you’ve had a tough time with Coral’s website during the Festival. I followed up the Bonus Bank issue this morning and indeed there were some problems with free bets being credited incorrectly. As you can imagine, this was a very popular offer, so we’re sorry it was not delivered properly.

As to the website problems, these issues aren’t really my area, but I’m determined to get this betslip issue fixed for everyone. This “not able to add to betslip” bug is a weird one. I can’t replicate it, nor can anyone in the Stratford or Gibraltar offices. I have seen enough people on here, on Twitter and on other forums talking about it to believe it exists though. To help the investigation, could anyone having problems please DM me with:

    – Coral username
    – Exact time of problem
    – Browser/browser version
    – Screenshots (if possible)

    Thanks!

Someone with some clout from Corals? I’d like to direct a few comments to you about your company please. I was under the impression you paraded yourselves around as bookmakers? Your company is an embarrassing shambles, your traders must all of have had their kahoonas removed at birth. Trading standards should look into your company, and the fact that they will not take a bet… From anyone, except compulsive losers. Why bother being a bookmaker?? Corals should stick to bingo.

A horrible excuse for a ‘bookmaker’, the very worst in fact.

I have nothing against you sir and totally understand that they pay your wages… But Corals are SCUM.

The same can be said about all the high street chains, though. They’re all pathetic.

Unfortunately not too many real bookmakers left standing.

agree tim, this is what i really dont get, back in late 70s early 80s you could get a decent bet on.Many a time i’d go in local shop(or an ‘away’ shop if i had a job on and staying on site) have £200 ew a 7s shot at HQ and they wouldn’t turn a hair.

It’s not just Corals, I had my account on Paddy Power restricted the weekend before the festival, no reason given just the usual traders decision waffle. When I queried the terms of their ‘free bet Cheltenham’ offer they wouldn’t answer or respond.

I reported them to the Advertising Standards, got a response yesterday saying my complaint had been added to an ever growing file of complaints about them.

It’s about time all these adverts and offers were properly regulated and available to all or not advertised as such.

Good news is that I can now access Corals site on my phone, bad news is there is only £1.64 left in it!

Just spent a ‘tooth pulling’ 20 minutes on live chat….and then rang up and spoke over the phone to be told they can’t offer me a special price double on Coneygree to win the Betfair Chase and King George…

This is a main bookie….two of the biggest races in the NH calendar and they won’t give me a price to do the bet…..find it hard to believe….
