It’s fairly throwing it down here just now, I’m about a mile away. It’s not put me off Victtorino at all. I’m maybe less confident now about Three Card Brag, but I’ve went in again ew at 28-1
November 29, 2025 at 09:40 #1745919What a great renewal and such a treat to see a full field after some disappointing turnouts in similar feature handicap chases so far this season.
It hasn’t been the November we were expecting from Venetia Williams, but I simply can’t abandon Victtorino. I have always thought he was slightly better than a handicapper, and something like this has always been in the back of my mind.
It’s great to see Panic Attack line up as I’m struggling to remember the last time the Cheltenham/Newbury double was attempted. Dear To Endeavour perhaps (I might be letting myself down now)? My mind immediately turned to this after Cheltenham.
I’ll also be having a small go on Annual Invictus who, as already mentioned, is no back number and Chris Gordon can do little wrong at the moment.
I won’t be backing them, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see either of the top two win this. I am keen on both of them for the Grand National.

Agreed, proper “Premier Handicap” worthy of the name. I’ve lost the run of myself and backed 4 ew
Blizzard of Oz – In my TTF, ‘hon the Blizz!
Spanish Harlem – might be near his ceiling but got Danny Mullins on in a big English hndicap so..
O’Moore Park- not reached his ceiling. Think trip might suit
Gorgeous Tom- same comments applyI like Monty’s Star but think he’ll probably need the run, so haven’t backed him this time
November 29, 2025 at 11:17 #1745933My picks…
Myretown 11-2 ew 5 places
Katate Dori 13-1 ew 4 places
The Changing Man 10-1 free betNovember 29, 2025 at 11:51 #1745947Resplendent Grey 8.6 win and
Annual Invictus 50s ew 5 placesNovember 29, 2025 at 12:01 #1745952Gorgeous Tom 14-1.
The more I know the less I understand.
November 29, 2025 at 12:56 #1745977Market saying loudly that my choice Annual Invictus has no chance. I’ll be happy if he’s in the first 6. I’ve added Resplendent Grey – good luck.
November 29, 2025 at 13:38 #1745984The Doyen Chef at 14/1 EW. Hate to say this, but Myretown is just too short at 9/2 facing 23 opponents. I know how good he is, but it’s just the price that doesn’t really appeal to me.
Good luck all
November 29, 2025 at 13:41 #1745986He might be short but Myretown could well be a graded horse on a silly mark , main play and I’ve added The Changing Man and Three card brag e.w , rev forecast on Myretown and The Changing man
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 29, 2025 at 14:37 #1746047A little on O’Moore Park each way at bigger odds as I could back several of those at shorter odds, rating their chances pretty much the same and unable to pick one.
Good luck, everyone
November 29, 2025 at 15:04 #1746067Brilliant, VTC!!!! That’ll pay for a few bevvies tonight! 🍻
Well done to DBR, too. 👏
November 29, 2025 at 15:06 #1746069I think Celestial Gold was the last horse to do that double
Quite incredible

November 29, 2025 at 15:07 #1746075Bobby does it again!
That is some training performance to get her ready to roll again after the Cheltenham race.
The Skelton horses are properly fit so recovery probably easier and less bounce factor. - AuthorPosts
