Grand Roi in a double with Monkfish for me here at 11/1. Also added Witness Protection at the bottom of the weights. A novice with 121 and he surely can imrpove again.

    Grand Roi & Monkfish 11/1
Witness Protection 28/1 EW (7 places)

I like the Palmers Hill shouts here and have also backed Dysart Diamond at 25/1 with 7 places. She was well fancied for a mares handicap hurdle at Leopardstown last time out but was almost stopped to a walk two out when another mare fell in front of her, which ended her race.

Still fizzing at Black Tears going to the Mares instead of here and winning it – the audacity!

Been over this race a hundred times and convinced myself, almost certainly incorrectly, that both Blue Sari and Sneaky Getaway are Mullins plotjobs.

Blue Sari has shown nowt since winning his hurdle debut but can’t get away from his bumper form and i doubt Willie and JP would run him here if he wasn’t sparking at home. Managed to take 12/1

Sneaky Getaway will like the quicker ground and Emmet Mullins is fast becoming a shrewd trainer to he reckoned with on his British raids. Brian Hayes his regular raiding jockey too. 25/1

Agree with a few here, Dysart Diamond looks a ripping e/w bet at 25s. She did everything wrong at Leopardstown on Boxing Day and still won cosily. Her jumping improved the quicker they went. Valuable experience of big field handicaps. I was hoping Townend would take the ride but i’d imagine the decision was more politically based than form driven.

On the Betfair Hurdle eye catcher- Guard Your Dreams, Sneaky Getaway (better ground + 1st time CPs) and lastly Monte Cristo…

Hard to pick which of Henderson’s is his best chance.

Shishkin won easy as expected, the rest of his yesterday were not necessarily expected to go that well.

The drift on Dame De Compagnie suggested she wasn’t fancied.

Epatante wasn’t given the best ride (or didn’t get luck in running) or else she’d have ran to probably her level at the moment.
    Ok Corral just is disappointing.

So all in all, not too concerned, but Hendo’s not been in form all year really.

I’ve a horrible record in this race. Don’t tend to have this many in a race like this, but I’m struggling to sack one off. The darts landed on…

Betfair have given me £20 in free bets this week so have split that between my top 5 in this event:

    Guard Your Dreams
    Koshari
    Birchdale
    Garo De Juilley
    Dysart Diamond

A fiendish event, and not one I would touch with a barge pole normally, but I’ll happily shoot for the stars when someone else is paying. Come on Garo De Juilley, I say!

Topped up Palmers Hill, and the fact I can get a bigger price is not a good sign.

Of the outsiders I liked, I’ve went with Burbank, who’s obviously the rag, but I do expect a run for my money.

Could be here all day listing others that I like, but I do like the shouts for Dysart Diamond.

    Burbank 125’s EW 7 Places
    Palmers Hill 33’s
Palmers Hill 40’s EW 7 Places

I did like Blue Sari for this but he is drifting like a barge. I still think he will run well.

Also like Sneaky Getaway in first time headgear.
