Hi Moses and Dave…. glad your still around…. yep, have done (and still doing) very well on the casinos, but it might surprise you to know that it aint Roulette……  good to see you again, we’d better give the others a shout, see if we can get ’em back….. it was a good laugh back then…. and we made a few quid too…….
Do you still use those electrodes and the wet towel Matron…… oooooh, that used to keep us in order…… Jack Nicholson woulda been proud of you……

Whats gone wrong MrE?
I logged onto a couple of sites I have used in the past for roulette – no free spin of the wheel anymore.
Regards – Matron
:cool:August 29, 2006 at 20:01 #61698
Matron….. the casinos aint slow in catching on, they’ve tightened up a hell of a lot…. and you are correct, on a lot of ’em they’ve done away with the "free" spins…… the money certainly aint in Roulette now, and although I made a fair chunk out of it, the game started to get harder to profit out of because of the "pay to spin" rules…….
But there is a hell of a lot of money to be made out of the casinos, I have made £1800 in 8 weeks, well, that aint just me, thats both me and the missus, I’ve got her into it too…….

  @ Dave…..
It wasn’t that difficult to get her involved mate…… I just refused to give her any money for shoes or a handbag, I just chucked her in front of the P/c and told her to earn her own……
     :oAugust 30, 2006 at 07:10 #61701
What are you playing now MrE – or is it a secret?
Regards – Matron
:cool:August 30, 2006 at 23:50 #61702
A secret …. nah, nothing like that….. the answer is Blackjack, its the game with the lowest house edge in the casino….. dependant on which casino you play at….. in fact, I’ll even go so far as to say that its absolutely NO RISK…… yep, thats it in one, there are casinos that are giving you money to play and you cannot lose…… and I know cos I’m winning more than I’ve ever won on the GG’s in just 2 months…… but there is a strategy and you would need to play to this strategy to give yourself the edge…… to be perfectly honest, its all in the maths…… I’ll give you all an example of a NO RISK Strategy……
You deposit £100 with a casino, they give you a 100% bonus for joining, your account now stands at £200….. now you play Blackjack to a pre-determined level and you just withdraw your winnings and their bonus…..
The maths say that the house edge is .5% because all the Double Downs. Splits, and surrenders are all in the punters favour and you’ll find that is the lowest edge in any casino game……. so you enter the game with your £100 and their £100…. that totals £200 in your account…. you know your gonna lose some of that cos the casino should win (but not always)….. but if the maths prevails, you should only lose about £10, so you should withdraw £190 when you’ve only deposited £100…. a very tasty £90 profit at NO RISK…..
Now why no risk, thats easy…. on some casinos (but not all casinos), you bet with their bonus first….. so if you were to hit a losing streak and your balance dropped to your original deposit of £100….. you just withdraw your deposit in full and its cost you nowt….. how does that grab you……. I’m at £1800 and still rising……

Well done Mr E!! Gotta watch those house edges though mate cos unlike some games the house edge actually fluctuates in Blackjack – certainly when you’re playing live and cards are disappearing from the pack(s). In fairness they do go down as well as up of course.
You were always well prepared where the casinos are concerned so you may know:- Does the ‘game’ always assume a full shoe or does it replicate real life as cards are drawn?
Nice to see you back – footy is my thing now – I rarely touch the nags, doing ok too, though not as prolific as 1800 quid in 8 weeks

Won’t you run out of casinos quickly though Mr E?September 10, 2006 at 14:05 #61705Sailing ShoesMember

I agree Cormack – he has said in his post overall it is losing £10 per £100.
There is only so many accounts you can have – unless of course your willing to bend the rules and open as many as you can – this of course is fraud and should not condoned.
Ha…. hi guys, nice to see some interest…..
Cormack…. yep, I suppose that sooner or later you would run out of casinos, but not soon…. there is about 500 to play, thats over one a day and you’ll not get through one a day….. there is a danger though, that the casinos would withdraw their bonus offers but I would think that this is very unlikely as they would need to generate custom and pull punters in from the other 499 casinos….. only time will tell…. but there’s plenty out there at the moment……
Shoes….. no cheating required and I would not condone that, the risk is too great and if they found out you would lose any winnings plus deposit and bonuses….. and I aint about to lose my own money….. there’s too many mate, there’s no need to bend the rules…. cheating is a big no-no….. I mentioned that the missus played them too, that is correct, that is why we’re doing so well, but she plays at different casinos to me….. we do not and could not play at the same casinos because our ISP address would give us away….. you gotta stay clean…..
Snowman…… good to see that your still nipping in my friend, its been a long time since we crossed swords…. personal problems has kept me away form the P/C for some months, getting back into it now….. in answer to your Blackjack query (well, I think it was a query)…. the casinos mainly play with 6 or 8 decks in a shoe, occasionally you can find a single deck game where the odds are more in the punters favour, but if you do, the stakes are normally higher to compensate the casinos for taking the greater risk…… no, I’m happy to play with 8 decks in the shoe anyway because I know that the odds are in my favour, sure, I will lose long term if I stay on, but I dont, I make the minimum amount of plays to capture the bonus and then withdraw….
You dont have to be a whizz at maths to know that the payout at 97% will have you losing 3%… so if you deposit £100 and they give you £100, you’ll LOSE £6…. but you still withdraw £194 giving a £94 profit……
To tell you why Blackjack is the only game to play would take another thread, but believe me mate, it works a treat…….
Take care all, and its about time some of you other old ‘uns came back…….. where are you Daz, and you Norfolk…….
