    I bought some beautiful cheese at my local farmers market last week. All 4 highly recommended:

    Sparkenhoe Red Leicester
    Montgomery Cheddar
    Baron Bigod Brie
    Stichelton (like Stilton but made with unpasteurised milk).

    Some excellent choices there, CAS. They’re all relatively easy to find; I use Neal’s Yard Dairy, but other cheesemongers are available.

    Waitrose do Gladders’s recommendation and Neal’s Yard Diary definitely rings a bell.
