You’ll be waiting a long time.

Pasta dishes my choice too, can’t get much quicker than Cacio e Pepe, and if your local cheesemonger stocks Red Cow Parmesan that’s a bonus.
Although, cheese on toast with marmite is a winner too.

    Gladiateur says

Likewise, besides I live on the otherside of the country. Where water is plentiful not in London and the Isle of Dogs. The Proclaimers hit, I will walk 500 miles come to mind if you came up my way. Probably nearly double that.

Besides which you don’t have my address. :mail:

Also you’ll have to share with Nathan

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

“Where water is plentiful not in London and the Isle of Dogs.”

I moved to Hampshire in 2002, Neil – do try to keep up!

“You’ll be waiting a long time.”

Like I didn’t see that riposte coming, Gladders.

What sort of a world is it where a man can’t ponce a free cheese omelette off someone they never met?

‘You’ll be waiting a long time.’

As inevitable as Del Boy falling through the bar but I still laughed.

Stick some mushrooms, peppers and onion in the cheese omlette and we have a deal.

Still south, in fact more south than your previous address.

From his post I deduce Cork All Star lives (fairly) close to me.

The is a song which mentions the part of the world I live in.

Have to admit, so did I – it might have been a two-yard tap in served on a plate, but it was still quintessential Gladders.

This one example was from Only fools was inevitable but still funny (as most of Only fools was)

The 2 greatest 80s characters , Del and Arthur , Minder was meant to be a Waterman vehicle but it soon became the Arthur show

I bet a Gladders cheese omelette would be exquisite – he’s odds on to use some obscure continental cheese.

Not so sure about what Neil would serve up tbh – I’m getting images of past their sell-by date processed cheese slices bought from some northern corner shop.

    Reassuringly pretentious.

    Sounds tremendous, actually.

It is available in most supermarkets.

But the key question is: has ID had any Lanark Blue yet?

I saw CAS as last poster on this thread and I thought: “I just mentioned cheese, I just know what’s coming.”

    And I wasn’t wrong.

Shamefully, SHAMEFULLY, I STILL haven’t tracked it down.

Dismal, truly dismal, of me I know.

But Lanark Blue remains at the top of my cheese bucket list, now with Ossau Iraty a close second!
