Died in the Palace House Stakes.
It is believed he suffered a heart attack before falling.
He was a good sprinter.

May 2, 2009 at 21:49 #225163it was so sad to watch i thought he had broke a leg rip big lad
May 2, 2009 at 23:16 #225180I didn’t realise it was a heart attack. It looked horrible. Condolences to connections, as always.
May 2, 2009 at 23:32 #225186I must admit the way he fell it did look like a break and there is a possibility he may well have sustained a break as he was falling.
However the initial vets report is saying it was a heart attack.
Whatever it ultimately was it is something you never ever want to see.

May 3, 2009 at 14:16 #225295I didn’t think it was a break when he first went wrong- we got to watch it several times (thank you channel 4
) and from seeing it over I wondered if something in his pelvis or back had gone as he just lost all coordination before collapse. Heart attack makes sense, hopefully he wasn’t aware of much after it happened, but absolutely horrible to see. Poor fellow, sympathies to connections.May 4, 2009 at 00:09 #225457
