One time I did try selecting 1st and reserves ‘honestly’ and then reversing them but, oh so predictably, the original 1st selections did best!
Incidentally, if anyone needs a Willie Mullins horse torpedoed then please ask and I’ll select it! I have a dreadful record selecting his horses.

I know these competitions are a bit of fun, but there are some rules we all need to adhere to just to make it fair for everyone.
PLEASE DO NOT EDIT YOUR CHOICES ONCE YOU HAVE SUBMITTED THEM. IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU HAVE MADE A MISTAKE OR JUST WANT TO CHANGE YOUR MIND. LEAVE YOUR ORIGINAL MESSAGE ALONE AND SIMPLY POST ANOTHER MESSAGE TELLING US WHAT YOU WANT TO CHANGE AND SO LONG AS IT IS BEFORE FIRST RACE WE WILL GLADLY DO THAT FOR YOU.
The reason we ask you to do this is because, as soon as you post your selections, I cut and paste them into our main form which Raymo uses to tot up the scores. Therefore, if you do edit your message later, it will not be seen by us, plus you could have edited it after the time of the first race which would not be allowed. I would not have mentioned this, because I know most of you already know that you have to send another message to make any changes, but someone HAS edited their selection today and it was only a fluke that we noticed it. Luckily, no points were due and we ignored the changes that had been made and the original choices remain.
Thank you for taking the time to read this – it really is important because it makes everything fair.
